Former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has landed in hot water again. After being suspended following the wrestler’s protest, a Delhi court has lodged a complaint against him and others on alleged sexual harassment charges by six female wrestlers.
Delhi Court frames charges against Brij Bhushan Singh
Today (May 10), Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court found enough evidence to frame charges against Brij Bhushan in five of the six cases pinned against him. However, the court dismissed the sixth case against him.
“Charges were framed against Brij Bhushan under sections 354 and 354A in respect of each victim” (assault of criminal force on a woman with intent to outrage her modesty), the court said.

The court also ordered the framing of charges for criminal intimidation and using force to outrage women’s modesty against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. The Delhi court has also charged former WFI assistant secretary Vinod Tomar with sexual harassment by female wrestlers.
