The first big event of this weekend’s boxing schedule is the return of Rolando Romero against Ismael Barroso. Romero prepared to face Alberto Puello. However, Puello tested positive for a banned substance and Barroso replaced him.

Romero and Barroso will fight in the main event of a 10-fight card on Saturday, May 13. However, only three will be on the Showtime PPV card. This will be Romero’s first fight since his defeat to Gervonta Davis. And although it is against 40-year-old Barroso, Romero will want to make a statement.
