Baoxing: Kendra Lust reacts to becoming the Prize for a Tyson Fury Fight, Check More on Fury’s potential returnDaniel Dubois of Britain is the mandatory challenger for the WBA title, meaning the WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO champion Tyson Fury can now try to defend his titles.
Promoter Alex Krassyuk confirmed the cancellation of the bout on Wednesday.
The reason for this is that after Usyk accepted the 70-30 deal, Tyson Fury may have had the idea that he could use Usyk like a horse and ridden him to defeat.
“That’s not fair. And by that, I mean that Usyk graciously agreed to a 70-30 split. His loyalty and determination towards the fight were admirable. Yet, this match isn’t about Tyson Fury; it’s a showdown to determine who gets to add the WBC title [Fury now possesses] to his collection. Said Alex Krassyuk.
The administration claimed that Fury’s terms and conditions were unfair and that Fury was trying to take advantage of Usyk. Usyk’s team has said that discussing Fury’s terms would be disrespectful and unethical, but they have also said that they are willing to have an open dialogue about the matter if Fury’s team initiates it.
