With a 28-0 record and an astounding 26 knockouts, WBA (regular) lightweight champion “Tank” Davis is the clear favourite and the solid favourite against California’s star Garcia (23-0 with 19 KOs).

However, it appears that both of them are so certain of winning the 12-round fight at T-Mobile Arena that they are prepared to stake their whole guaranteed income on the outcome.
As he spoke with YouTuber Kai Cenat, Davis was presenting an Instagram Live video with nearly 200,000 viewers.
In a peculiar take on pre-fight advertising, Garcia joined the video from his car as the two spat insults and denials.
Then Davis took a risky — and possibly expensive — move by asking his opponent, “Yo, you wanna bet?”
Garcia answered, “Sure, let’s do it. I feel low.
Davis made clear he wasn’t messing around, saying: “The whole purse?”
But Garcia didn’t back down, responding: “Let’s do it. The whole purse.”
“You hear me on the live,” he continued, “let’s go, let’s make a contract, let’s sign it, both of us.”

Davis then looked to jump on the phone to have a contract for the bet hammered down, as Cenat jumped about the room yelling: “We about to get paid!”
‘Sporting Payouts’ reports that Davis is promised $1.5 million USD ($A2.2 million) for the bout, while Garcia, the younger boxer, is anticipated to earn $350,000 USD ($A520k).
Davis receives a 60/40 split of the PPV portion, which has the potential to bring in an additional $5 million USD for the duo.
Garcia retaliated by yelling, “When you get knocked out by me, I don’t want to hear you talk nothing,” as the two sparred. I’m not even talking to you.
“Gervonta, let’s go. You’re going to feel me in the ring. When it’s real, you’re going to feel me, I promise you.”
Davis replied: “I don’t care about that. You don’t have any skills. You don’t have nothing.”
