Box Office ticket sales begin for Hockey Asian Champions Trophy in Chennai

Box office ticket sales for the Asian Champions Trophy in Chennai has commenced on Saturday, 29th July. Fans can buy the tickets from the Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium in Egmore between 11.00 AM to 6.00 PM.

Chennai is gearing up to host the Hockey Asian Champions Trophy 2023. The tournaments kick-starts from 3rd August 2023 at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium in the city. Ahead of the event, the box office ticket sales has commenced on Saturday, 29th July. Check how to but tickets offline.

According to a release from Hockey India, fans can purchase the tickets the tickets between 11.00 AM to 6.00 PM at Gate No. 1 in the stadium. The Tickets can be purchased for the Kalaignar Centenary Pavilion Level 1, East Stands, and South Stands of the stadium.

The ticket price for the South Stand and the East stand is set at Rs.300 and Rs.400 respectivey per day. While the maximum price of the ticket is set at Rs.500 for the Kalaignar Centenary Pavilion.

Earlier on June 20, the online ticket sales for the tournament got underway. Fans can purchase the tickets online from the following link  https://in.ticketgenie.in/Tickets/Hero-Asian-Champions-Trophy-2023 

Six top teams from Asia will be in action in the tournament. Hosts India will face off against formidable opponents – Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Japan, and China. All six teams will each play five matches in the round-robin stage before the top four teams move into the semifinals. 

In the round-robin stage, three matches will be played during every matchday. India will play their first match of the tournament against China on 3rd August. The Men in Blue will next face Japan on 4th August and Malaysia on 6th August. They will then face Korea on the 7th August. The last match of the group stage will be against Pakistan on 9th August. All India matches will commence at 2030 hrs IST.
