McMillan’s death was confirmed by his sponsor, Black Skull USA after they posted the news on their Instagram page.
“We regret to inform you that our friend and brother @cedricmcmillan passed away today. Cedric will be greatly missed as an athlete, comrade, friend, and father. Our prayers are with all his family and friends. He “fought the good fight” and now he rests. – Marcelo Bella,” read the post.
McMillan contracted Covid in 2020 and since then was suffering from health issues. He had cardiac problems and was on a year-long break since then.

McMillan was a former US Army instructor and National Guard, who took to bodybuildiing in 2009 and became a professional. He went on to win the Orlando Show of Champions, the New York Pro Championships, and the Golden State Pro Championships. In 2017, he won the Arnold Classic, which is named after actor and bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger.
