Yuki Bhambri of India and his French partner Albano Olivetti emerged victorious in the doubles category at the BMW Open 2024 tennis tournament held on Sunday in Munich, Germany. The clay court competition, also known as the Bavarian International Tennis Championships, was an ATP 250 event.
The victory marked the Indian tennis player’s second ATP Tour championship. Bhambri, who is ranked 59th right now, won the doubles championship at the Mallorca Open, an ATP 250 event that took place on grass last year.
In an hour and fifty-one minutes, the unseeded Bhambri-Olivetti defeated German wildcards Andreas Mies and Jan-Lennard Struff in the final in Munich, 7-6(6), 7-6(5). It was the Indo-French team’s first title as a pair.
