Bengaluru Open Challenger: The ATP events in India in 2023 will kickstart with the Bengaluru Open Challenger that is scheduled to be held from 20 to 26th February 2022. The ATP Challenger event will be played at the Karnataka Lawn Tennis Association Stadium (KSLTA) in Bengaluru. Bengaluru Open Challenger: Fifth edition of Bengaluru Open ATP Challenger event to kickstart from 20 February 2023 – Check Out
The Bengaluru Open Challenger in 2023 will the the fifth edition of the tournament. The main draw will consist of 32 players in singles and 16 in doubles with 24 making it to the qualifying draw. All the players will fight for the prize money of USD 130,000, which is bigger than the last year’s edition.
Last year the Garden city saw host to two back to back Challenger events with a cash prize of USD 52,000 each. Last year it was an ATP 8- event and this year, it is set to return as an ATP Challenger 100 event for teh first time since 2020. Australia’s Alexander Vukic is likely to defend his title in the tournament.

According to a press release, Tournament Director, Sunil Yajaman said, “Bengaluru has become a sought-after destination on the ATP Challenger Tour and it is exciting to announce that the Bengaluru Open 2023 would be held from Feb 20-26. Apart from the Indian and Karnataka players deriving benefit from the event with home advantage on their side, we are also keen to welcome players from across the globe to Bengaluru.”
After the Bengaluru Open, the remaing two ATP Challenger 100 events in India will be held in Chennai and Pune, respectively. Meanwhile, Nagpur will host its first ATP Challenger 50 tournament.
