There will be six Indians in action at the Bengaluru Open 2024. Sumit Nagal will be in action as India’s top-ranked singles player, while four Davis Cuppers, Ramkumar Ramanathan, N Sriram Balaji, Saketh Myneni, and Niki Poonacha, will headline the doubles.
Sumit Nagal is coming off a second-round run at the Australian Open 2024, which saw him beat world no. 27 Alexander Bublik in straight sets. Right now, Nagal is playing in the ATP Challenger Chennai.
Ramanathan will partner up with compatriot Myneni, and they will be seeded sixth (combined ranking of 317) at the Bengaluru Open 2024. The Indian duo will look to recreate the same magic as they did in 2022, when they won the title. Meanwhile, Balaji will team up with Andre Begemann as the third seed, with a combined ranking of 279.
The tournament, which will run from February 12 to 18, will also feature Davis Cup debutant and world number 147 Niki Poonacha, with compatriot Rithvik Choudary Bollipalli as the fourth seed with a combined ranking of 306.
