It was a battle between the two fine captains. Bengal’s Maninder Singh may have won the individual battle but Pawan Sehrawat had the last laugh with his team winning the game by one point. Maninder, on the other hand, would be utterly disappointed having missed on a chance to take over the top spot in the points table.

Maninder gave it his all and scored half of his team’s points but unfortunately could not get the desired result.

Bengal Warriors had won both their matches in the tournament before this game. They thrashed Pardeep Narwal-led UP Yodhha in their opening game. After that, they registered a close victory over Gujarat Giants.

Meanwhile, Bengaluru Bulls seem to have found their mojo back after a disappointing opening game against U Mumba. They were thrashed 30-46 by the Fazel Atrachali-led team but bounced back in their second game against Tamil Thalaiavas in the Southern Derby of the Pro Kabaddi League. They won the game 38-30 and carried the confidence against Bengal.
