Balraj Panwar redeems himself in repechage round, makes it rowing quarters at Paris Olympics

Balraj Panwar finished second in the repechage round of the rowing event in Paris Olympics with a best of 7:12:41

Indian rower Balraj Panwar finished second in the repechage round of Men’s sculls for rowing at the Paris Olympics. Panwar failed to qualify for the quarterfinals after being unable to finish in the top three in the round one of the event. Panwar finished second in the repechage round with 7:12:41.

Balraj Panwar overcomes setback to move ahead in Paris Olympics

In the first round, Panwar covered the first 1000m in 3:31.24 where he was positioned 4th. Makintosh Thomas, Ntouskos Stefanos and Elbanna Abdelkhalek qualified for the quarterfinals after finishing as the top three in the first round. New Zealamd’s Mackintosh finished on top with a best of 6:55:29.
