Novak Djokovic clinched a dominating straight set win against Alex de Minaur in the fourth round of the Australian Open. With the win, the Serbian has entered his 13th Australian Open quarterfinal. Djokovic looked absolutely fit in the contest as he showed no signs of trouble with his hamstring as he sailed past the Australian 6-2, 6-1, 6-2. He will be facing Andrey Rublev in the quarterfinals of the tournament.

Andrey Rublev rallied back from the brink to edge out Holger Rune of Denmark in a blockbuster 5-setter clash to book a seat in the quarter-final in the ongoing Australian Open here at the Rod Laver Arena on Monday. He won the match on his third match point when a net cord dribbled over the net, which was cruelly Rune’s third match point.
“I never in my life was able to win matches like this. This is the first ever time that I won something like this, especially in a very special tournament, the Australian Open, to be in the quarter-finals.
So it’s something I will remember for sure all my life. I have no words, I am shaking and happy,” ATP.com quoted Rublev as saying in a post-match.
A perfect 8⃣ from 8⃣ since arriving Down Under, @SabalenkaA has yet to drop a set on her run to the #AusOpen quarterfinals.

How far can she go at #AO2023?
Aryna Sabalenka overpowered Belinda Bencic 7-5 6-2 to reach the Australian Open quarter-finals for the first time on Monday, getting her head straight after going down an early break to blast her Swiss opponent off the court.
The 24-year-old Belarusian will face Croatian Donna Vekic or Czech teenager Linda Fruhvirtova in the last-eight as she looks to book a spot in the semi-finals of a Grand Slam for the fourth time.
Still effectively on the comeback trail after an arm fracture prevented her from playing in Australia last year, Karoline Pliskova reached the last-eight with a 6-0 6-4 win over China’s Zhang Shuai on the least prestigious court still being used. Only two top 10 seeds, Jessica Pegula and Aryna Sabalenka, remain in the quarter-finals, leaving Pliskova as one of the more experienced Grand Slam campaigners. Also a losing finalist at the U.S. Open in 2016 and a semi-finalist at all four Grand Slams, the 30-year-old is not overly surprised at the number of upsets at the tournament.
