Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and Nadal, have all won 20 Grand Slam titles each. With the former two not playing in this year’s tournament, this is the best chance for the Spaniard to surpass them. The Australian Open has however not kind to Nadal as he has made just one appearance in the final. It was back in 2009, where he won the title. With his current form looking very promising, Nadal will hope to reach the summit clash and the title that has eluded him for long.
