The much awaited groups in the ATP Finals 2023 is unveiled by the ATP on Thursday. World No.1 and defending champion Novak Djokovic will lead the Group Green. Meanwhile Carlos Alcaraz is the top seed in Group Red. Daniil Medvedev, Jannik Sinner, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Alexander Zverev and Holger Rune are the other challengers to Djokovic and Alcaraz in this year’s edition.
The ATP Finals 2023 will get underway from November 12. The tournament will be played in Turin this year that features the World’s Top 8 players in both the Men’s singles and Doubles.

ATP Finals – Group Green
Novak Djokovic is closing in on earning the year-end World No.1 ranking for the eighth time in his career. While he is looking to defend his title in the league he is also looking to go past Roger Federer. Both the players have six title in the year-end finals.
The Serbian finds himself in the group that has Andrey Rublev, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Holger Rune. Rublev made it until the semifinal last year, where he lost to Casper Ruud. Tsitsipas meanwhile bowed out from the group stages in 2022. Both the players are eyeing an improved show this year. 20-year old Holger Rune meanwhile makes his debut in the year-end finals.
ATP Finals – Group Red
Second seed Carlos Alcaraz headlines Red Group, which also will feature Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev and Alexander Zverev. Alcaraz who was the World No.1 last year missed the ATP Finals in 2022 due to an injury. The 20-year old is all set to make his debut in the ATP Finals

Rohan Bopanna in Men’s Doubles
After a successful year, Indian veteran Rohan Bopanna has earned the right to play in the ATP Final this year. He, along with his partner Matthew Ebden are placed in Group Red. They are the third seeded pair.
The group also has Wesley Koolhof and Neal Skupski, who are the second seeds. Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury, who beat Bopanna and Ebden at the US Open final this year also find themselves in the group as the sixth seeds. Rinky Hijikata and Jason Kubler complete the group.
