Athletics National Championship: Hima Das Tested Negative: Hima had picked up a hamstring injury while taking part in 100m heats at her last appearance at the Inter-state meet, an Olympic qualifying event. As a result of the injury, she had to withdraw from the 100m finals and the 4x100m women’s relay. However, she returned for the 200m finals.
Hima Das failed to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics as she missed the mark. The Indian holds the national record in women’s 400m, women’s 4×100m relay, and the 4x400m mixed relay races.
