Veterans Saurav Ghosal, Joshna Chinnappa and Dipika Pallikal will lead an 8-member Indian Squash team in the upcoming Asian Games 2023. The Games will be held in Hangzhou, China from September 23 to October 8.

Men’s Team
37-year old Saurav Ghosal will be leading the Men’s Squad at the Asiad. He has won singles medals in the last four editions of the Asiad so far and hopes to add one more medal to his tally in the upcoming edition.
He so far has one silver and three bronze medal in singles. The veteran will target the elusive gold medal this time around. Apart from Saurav Ghosal, the team also has Abhay Singh, Mahesh Mangaonkar and Harinderpal Singh Sandhu.

Women‘s Team
Both Joshna Chinnappa and Dipika Pallikal clinched bronze medals in the previous editions of the Asiads in Singles. The experienced duo will look to spearhead Indian challenge. Meanwhile India’s No.1 in Singles in Tanvi Khanna. She is currently ranked World No.69 in the PSA World Squash Rankings.
It is one position above Joshna Chinnappa’s ranking of No.70. Tanvi Khanna’s rise in the rankings also adds hopes to a good show by the Indian Women in the upcoming event. The team also has 15-year old Anahat Singh.
