Sheetal Devi, who initially came second by delivering a personal best score of 703 in the qualification round, was unable to advance to the quarterfinals, ending with a 137-138 scoreline.

Even when she started with an 8, while Mariana scored a 9, Sheetal made a strong comeback with a perfect 10. However, Mariana responded with another 10. Sheetal’s final arrow scored an 8, but Mariana sealed the win with an 8.

They will face either Indonesia or Iraq, depending on who wins, in the quarterfinals on September 2.
