India’s Sheetal Devi has failed to recreate history. The Tokyo Paralympics silver medalist lost in a crunch game against Chile’s Mariana Zuniga. Sheetal Devi, who initially came second by delivering a personal best score of 703 in the qualification round, was unable to advance to the quarterfinals, ending with a 137-138 scoreline.

They will face either Indonesia or Iraq, depending on who wins, in the quarterfinals on September 2.
