The battle between AJ and Dillian Whyte was initially slated to take place on Saturday night, but it was postponed after the Body Snatcher failed a drug test.
Since then, Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has been working hard to find a replacement for Whyte.

DAZN Puts Standard Subscription On Anthony Joshua vs Robert Helenius
On the same card, heavyweight competitors Gerald Washington, Derek Chisora, Demsey McKean, and Filip Hrgovic were all given consideration.
However, Helenius—who had previously engaged in combat with Whyte and Chisora—was ultimately selected.
Helenius was eliminated by Deontay Wilder last year after just one round, but he just turned things around with a victory.
The experienced Finn defeated his opponent in three rounds, marking his first triumph since beating Adam Kownacki on the undercard of Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder 3.
Joshua just defeated Jermaine Franklin on points in April, so he’ll be hoping for a knockout victory now.

Joshua lost two title fights against Oleksandr Usyk before his knockout victory over Kubrat Pulev in the ninth round in December 2020.
Joshua will fight Wilder in a match that most likely takes place in Saudi Arabia in 2024, assuming he defeats Helenius.
The match between Joshua and Helenius will happen on Saturday, August 12.
The bout will take place in London’s O2 Arena. At 7 p.m. BST, the main card is scheduled to begin. The main event’s ring walks will probably start at about 10.30 pm BST.
