Recently, a Twitter user named Censored Men tweeted 2 videos that expose the corruption in the Romanian judicial system. It is a video of Giorgiana Hosu, the former chief prosecutor of Romania’s Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT), who resigned on September 24, 2020. The video demonstrates DIICOT’s corrupt system since it is one of Romania’s top special prosecution units and also the agency that detained Tate.
According to the video, the husband of the Ex-DIICOT chief, Hosu was convicted of two crimes: for unauthorized access to a computer system and inciting the use of material that was not intended for commercial purposes. Aside from that, he was exonerated of the more serious corruption accusations of influence peddling and bribery.
