Andrew Tate cars were seized as part of the investigation
The car seizures were verified to Business Insider by Ramona Bolla, a spokeswoman for Romania’s DIICOT investigations agency, on Wednesday. She stated that they would serve as collateral to pay any damages awarded to their alleged victims and that they were being kept to “sustain the cost of the inquiry” into Tate. Bolla was unable to confirm the car brands and models immediately. However, the Romanian news source Gândul published images depicting the seized vehicles.

After originally detaining Tate and the others for 24 hours, a Romanian judge decided that this should be increased to 30 days. Tate hasn’t publicly reacted to the accusations other than to call the inquiry into question as a possible cover-up. He wrote on Twitter on Friday, “The Matrix deployed their operatives.”
