Romanian Authorities arrested Tate and his brother on December 29. The charges that the two internet sensations face include human trafficking, rape, and forming an organized crime group. However, the accused deny all the claims.
Tate’s lawyer, Eugen Vidineac, spoke to Romanian news outlet Gandul before the two were going to appear before the Romanian authorities. He said, “I will point this out from the beginning, that even up to the present moment, the criminal investigation file has not been made available to us to ensure the effective defence of our clients.”
These comments show that there is something fishy about the case. And points towards Tate and his brother, not getting a fair trial. Moreover, the lawyer pointed out that there is no significant evidence for the charges except for a victim’s statement.
Alleged victims come out in support of Andrew Tate
While the two brothers remained in jail, the authorities also seized 15 luxury vehicles and ten properties that belonged to the two brothers. This was to prevent any external influence on potential evidence. However, Tate’s lawyer’s claims about the case being baseless took another interesting turn recently.
Two of the alleged victims in the case went on live TV in Romania and cleared up their story. The girls said the statement they made when the first raid happened was very different. They said the accusations were false and that the Tate brothers were like family. They also pointed out that it’s embarrassing that the case has reached this stage despite them clearing things up months ago.

Therefore, all these things point towards a very suspicious case. And while it is not right for anyone to jump to conclusions, maybe Tate was right. Maybe they are using baseless allegations to shut down his message. Only time will tell. The only thing we can hope for is a fair and correct trial.
What do you make of these claims from Andrew Tate’s lawyer? Do you think ‘Top G’ will get a fair trial?
