Recently, two of the six women—the Tate brothers’ alleged victims—came out on a television news show to refute the allegations. They also said that the Tate brothers are like family and close allies. Last year, Depp received hateful remarks from all across the world when the news first broke, with the majority of individuals opposing him. However, the jury found Amber Heard had defamed Depp when she described herself as a “public figure representing domestic abuse” in an op-ed last year.

Likewise, one user noticed parallels between the two incidents in which Tate similarly faced criticism once the news of his detention spread around the globe. However, now the two purported victims have now denied the claims, appearing on a televised news program.
