India men’s hockey team will start with 15 members instead of 16 in the semi-finals at Paris Olympics after Amit Rohidas is handed a one-match suspension. The FIH Technical Delegate issued the suspension for the player, noting that he breached the FIH Code of Conduct in the game against Great Britain.
Rohidas was given a red card following a dangerous tackle resulting in his stick making contact with Will Calnan’s face.
