The annual badminton tournament will be the fifth tournament of the 2022 BWF World Tour is being held ever since 1899. This year marks the 114th edition of the century old tournament. The tournament is scheduled to be played from 16th to 20th March 2022.

- First Round: Wednesday, March 16, 2022
- Second Round: Thursday, March 17, 2022
- Quarterfinals: Friday, March 18, 2022
- Semifinals: Saturday, March 19, 2022
- Finals: Sunday, March 20, 2022

- First round matches: Start at 9 AM Local Time (2:30 PM IST), end at 11 PM GMT (4:30 AM IST).
- Second round matches: Start at 11 AM Local Time (4:30 PM IST), end at 8 PM Local Time (1:30 AM IST).
- Quarterfinal matches: First session will start at 10 AM Local Time (3:30 PM IST), end at 3 PM Local Time (8:30 PM IST).

- India ace shuttler PV Sindhu will face off World No.17 Wang Zhi Yi in the opening contest of All England Open in her bid to win maiden title in the tournament.
- In Men’s Singles, Sai Praneeth, a BWF World Championship bronze medallist in 2019, will face off World No.1 Victor Axelsen in a tough battle to progress in the tournament.
- Saina Nehwal, who will be looking for an improvement after recovering from injury, will face off 10th ranked Pornpawee Chochuwong.
- Former World No.1 Kidambi Srikanth will face off Kantaphon Wangcharoen in the opening round. He is also placed in the same quarter as World No.1 Axelsen.
- Lakshya Sen will face off counterpart Sourabh Verma in his bid for the second title in 2022 after India Open. He is placed in the same quarter as World No.1 Kento Momota.
