The Call of Duty League is thrilled to unveil the details for the highly anticipated 2025 season, set to kick off on December 6th. Fresh off the record-breaking success of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the league is primed for an epic year of competitive action, with a revamped format and the addition of several new high-profile teams.
Call of Duty League 2025 Season: Major Tournament Circuit
The 2025 season will feature a circuit of four major tournaments, each hosted by a different CDL franchise. The season will open with Major I, hosted by the Toronto Ultra in Madrid, Spain. This marks the first time the league has ventured to Europe since its inaugural season.
The action then shifts to the U.S., with Major II being hosted by the defending champions, OpTic Texas, in Dallas. The league then heads to Fort Lauderdale, Florida for Major III, hosted by the Miami Heretics. The fourth and final major tournament of the season is currently in the planning stages, with details to be announced soon.

New Online Minor Tournaments
In addition to the major LAN events, the 2025 season will introduce a new element – online minor tournaments. These 12-team, single-elimination tournaments will take place between the major qualifier weeks, offering $20,000 prize pools and valuable CDL points that will impact the postseason seeding.

Game Modes and Challengers Program
The league will continue to feature Hardpoint, Search and Destroy, and Control game modes throughout the season. The Challengers program will also return, with the first Challengers Cup kicking off on November 23-24.
