The Call of Duty series is no doubt one of the best first-person action games out there. Fans are eagerly waiting for the upcoming Call of Duty title that is expected to release in 2022. After a lot of speculation regarding Call of Duty 2022, an internal leak by NVIDIA has created a buzz in the gaming community. It suggested that the upcoming title from Activision is set to be a sequel of the popular COD Modern Warfare series. The Modern Warfare series is considered as one of the best games in the genre and Activision is actively planning to bring back the series in the form of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.
Many leakers and players on Reddit noticed that a back-end server of the NVIDIA’s GeForce technology site revealed the names of several hundreds of games that are being tested in the servers. This long list of games included both announced as well as unannounced games. Recently, Tom Henderson, a popular GTA and Call of Duty leaker, confirmed via twitter that the upcoming Call of Duty will be titled as ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II’. Several users also noticed “Project Cortez ” on the NVIDIA list which was published by Activision Blizzard and Infinity Ward. Activision still hasn’t commented anything on their upcoming Call of Duty 2022 title but it seems like they might launch it sooner. It is because of all the controversies the company is currently facing. Fans should expect Activision to drop the Call of Duty Modern Warfare II 2022 somewhere around Q2 of 2022.
Call of Duty – Captain PriceThe upcoming title will inherit tons of features from the previous title including Modern Warfare 2 maps like Favela, Highrise, Terminal, Quarry and Shipment. The Call of Duty 2022 will also bring back the likes of multiplayer mode. This will include the Extraction type mode, Bounty Hunter Perk, Floor is Lava game mode, Uplink mode, Operators run, Ricochet Perk and Hostage mode. Tom Henderson tweeted, “It’s currently believed that this will be the last Call of Duty coming of past generation consoles, but it will ultimately depend on the console market conditions.” He also suggested that Call of Duty Modern Warfare II will include a campaign involving US special forces fighting a covert war against Colombian drug cartels.
