SMGs in Call of Duty Mobile are extremely potent weapons. With faster reloads and a decent close to mid-range of attack, SMGs are extremely beneficial for aggressive combat. To date, players preferred the CBR-4 as their primary SMG, ever since it was added to the game last year. However, with the latest update, the situation is expected to change and tilt the meter towards the QQ9.
Call of Duty Mobile Season 7- Comparing the CBR-4 and QQ9
First, it is important to talk about the buffs made to the QQ9. The lethality of the weapon over range has been improved considerably. The stats post update reveals that it is almost at a similar level as a CBR-4. The lethality of head and chest shots has also been buffed. It deals 30 damage to enemies standing within a 10-meter radius. Accurate upper body shots will quickly eliminate the enemy very quickly due to the buffed multipliers.

In terms of weapon statistics, it still holds a position in the best weapons category. However, other factors such as STF delay and recoils make it vulnerable. Nonetheless, do not be surprised if the CBR-4 continues to dominate the lobbies in Season 7.
CBR-4 statistics (image via Twitter/ Stats on Duty)The YKM light stock results in a 15% STF delay. Whereas, a 12% Bullet Spread is also encountered. An 8% recoil in both Vertical and Horizontal directions makes it a difficult weapon to yield in close counters. Players need to hit 1 chest or 2 upper arm shots below 11 meters or 2 chests or 4 upper arm shots below 17 meters to inflict considerable damage to the enemy. Any aggressive COD Mobile player will face immense trouble handling the weapon due to the increase in STF delay.
Popular YouTuber and Call of Duty enthusiast, Bobby Plays tested the buffed QQ9 following the update. The gamer is extremely content with the weapon and believes it will be the SMG that players will use in Call of Duty Mobile Season 7.
