Call of Duty League- CDL 2022: The enormous long campaign of the CDL 2022 finally came to an end yesterday with a final showdown between Atlanta FaZe and LA Thieves. After four Major tournaments, the Championship final was one to behold in Galen Center in Los Angeles, California. LA Thieves, the 100T franchise emerged victorious over the 2021 Champions Atlanta FaZe. Going into the tournament, it was really difficult for LA Thieves to cope with the pressure. 100T Nadeshot, the owner of the franchise mentioned that LA Thieves were questioned and criticized all the way. Nonetheless, the team held together and finally emerged as the champions. With veterans like Octane and Kenny, early birds Drazah and Envoy, had the time of their life in the end part of CDL 2022.

LA Thieves finished the last step of the championship in dominant fashion. Winning 5 matches and giving away only two, Atlanta FaZe were simply no match to the swift LA attack. Winning in front of the home crowd was an added bonus for the team.

The final match up saw the game go down to a round 11 in search and destroy. While FaZe decided to play it slow and pick members off the LA team one by one, they ended up giving away a free plant on bombsite B. After that it was simply mayham as FaZe struggled to retake the site and Envoy cruised through and picked Cellium of the flank.
LA Thieves bagged $1.2 million as prize money. All the top 8 teams received a bit from the $2.5 million prize pool. Atlanta FaZe continue their second place curse as they look forward to the next season in Modern Warfare II. It will be interesting to see how the top 8 teams design their rosters going into the next season. major changes can be expected.
