India vs New Zealand in the ICC World Cup is all set to carry ahead at Dharamshala. After the International Cricket Council announced its revised schedule, there we no changes to the IND vs NZ game. The game is set to commence on the 22nd of October at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium.
Well the game is set to proceed as per plans, but as per reports, both the ICC and the fans have been angry with the game. Cricket fans have vented their anger towards the BCCI for poor planning and execution of the game.
The reason is fairly simple, India vs New Zealand is a big clash and such a high-intensity game is being held at Dharamshala. The ground is small and boasts of a sitting capacity of just 23,000 seats.
The Commercial division of the ICC is very unhappy that they are set to lose out on a massive revenue from the game. But nothing doing as bullish BCCI continues to retain Dharamshala for the epic clash between the Men in Blue and the Kiwis. As ICC didn’t want to make a big loss in their revenue, they were unhappy with the game taking place at a small venue.

BCCI Announces Reschedule of World Cup 2023 Fixtures
The clash between India and Pakistan was originally slated to take place in Ahmedabad on Sunday, 15 October, but this has been moved a day earlier and will now be held at the same venue on Saturday, 14 October.
As a result, England’s fixture against Afghanistan in Delhi will be moved from Saturday, 14 October and will now be played 24 hours later on Sunday, 15 October.
Pakistan’s contest against Sri Lanka in Hyderabad has moved from Thursday, 12 October to now being played on Tuesday, 10 October and Australia’s big match against South Africa in Lucknow moved back 24 hours and will now be played on Thursday, 12 October instead of Friday, 13 October.
