Hardik Pandya has reacted for first time after he was traded to Mumbai Indians (MI) from Gujarat Titans (GT). In his tweet, Pandya revealed that he feels good to be back at his old team and it brings back to wonderful memories.
“This brings back so many wonderful memories. Mumbai. Wankhede. Paltan. Feels good to be back,” Hardik wrote in his tweet.
Hardik was a successful captain for GT for two season. He guided his team to a maiden IPL title win in the 2022 edition. They were also the runner-up in the IPL 2023.
For Mumbai, Hardik has played 92 matches and scored 1,476 runs and taken 42 wickets.
Mumbai Indians owner Nita Ambani welcomed Hardik to their side, saying that she excited for the Indian all-rounder future in the team.
“We are thrilled to welcome Hardik back home! It’s a heartwarming reunion with our Mumbai Indians family! From being a young scouted talent of Mumbai Indians to now being a team India star, Hardik has come a long way and we’re excited for what the future holds for him and Mumbai Indians!” she said on Mumbai Indians’ twitter handle.
MI co-owner Akash Ambani also tweeted and wrote that Hardik’s all-round skill will provide balance to the team.
