The World Boxing Council recently tweeted the news below, revealing that over the course of the previous month, fans had voted daily to choose the 32 illustrious fighters they believed to be the Greatest HW.
From the 32 contenders, it was obvious that Iron Mike and The People’s Champion would face off in the final battle. It ultimately resulted in a close fight between the two legends, in which Ali triumphed over and beat Tyson to conquer the WBC Heavy Weight World Cup.

Ali ultimately won thanks to his superior boxing abilities. It’s not as if Tyson couldn’t damage Ali, but in the battle between the two, there must be a victor, and many fans believe that victor to be Ali.

While Tyson had pure speed, tenacity, and ferocity with which he knocked out countless boxers in under a minute throughout his career, fans believe that The Louisville Lip would overwhelm Tyson due to his jab, footwork, hand speed, and fantastic boxing intellect.
Not to mention that boxing superstar Ali famously acknowledged that, had the two ever engaged in combat, he might not have been able to survive a punch from Tyson. Iron Mike, on the other hand, publicly admitted to being a major fan of Ali throughout the years. If we could have seen them under the light, it would have been a surreal encounter, certainly the biggest in the realm.
