As per the reports, both fighters earned a decent amount of fight purses. Joshua Buatsi reportedly bagged $300K with a decision win over Stepien. The total amount Joshua Buatsi earned is around $375K to $400K  with additional bonuses. Meanwhile, Pawel Stepien earned $175K despite a loss. This was the guaranteed fight purse for both men. Unfortunately, both fighters reportedly didn’t earn a PPV share.

Joshua Buatsi made his return to the boxing ring after a 1-year hiatus. However, the 32-year-old didn’t fight to the expectations after a slow momentum in the second half leading to a split decision win over Pawel Stepien.
