‘Blessing Baby Maxwell’ Vini Raman melts internet with baby shower pictures

Glenn Maxwell is currently enjoying his break after finishing T20 Blast in England

Vini Raman: Glenn Maxwell – Vini Raman took the internet by storm by sharing adorable baby shower pictures. Glenn Maxwell’s better half had a traditional ‘Valaikappu’ ceremony, wherein close relatives of Maxwells, Ramans, and friends attended the event. Vini looked gorgeous in a blue Saree, while the Aussie cricketer aced the casual look by wearing a grey shirt. Vini took to Instagram and uploaded seven pictures of the sacred ceremony.

Earlier, Vini and Maxwell took to Instagram and announced their pregnancy during IPL 2023 season. The former also said that they can’t wait to welcome the Rainbow baby and went on to explain the meaning of the concept.

“Overwhelmed by all the love. For those that aren’t aware a rainbow baby is a baby born after a miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, molar pregnancy, termination for medical reasons, stillbirth, or neonatal death. It symbolizes the rainbow that happens after a storm,” Vini wrote.

Meanwhile, the Aussie all-rounder is currently enjoying his break after finishing T20 Blast 2023. Maxwell turned out for Warwickshire but has opted out of The Hundred citing workload issues. The 34-year-old also stated MLC is a much better league than The Hundred.

“I think now the Major League Cricket tournament’s come in, that’s going to affect the Blast really badly. When you’ve got an opportunity to go over to America for two weeks, compared to 14 games here with a stressful schedule where you’re traveling all over the place. There was one week where we played on a Tuesday in Durham, Thursday in Leeds, and then Friday here in Birmingham – that’s three games in four days with a day’s travel in between,” said Maxwell to BBC radio.

“It can really drain you, your body, and mentally. I found that very tough this year, and I think with the Major League being a lot more attractive, bigger crowds, I think there’s eight [six] overseas players per team, the excitement of a new tournament, it’s only two weeks long. Less of a burden on your schedule. I think it’s going a lot more attractive to some overseas players. I would say it does the same thing as T20 cricket but it’s not relevant to the international schedule,” he added.
