Billie Jean King Cup has announced Team Poland as the wildcard for the upcoming Finals. Poland had been knocked out of the qualifier stage of the event by Kazakhstan 3-1. The tie, which took place in Astana, saw star Polish player and world no. 1 Iga Swiatek missing from the contest, due to which Poland were able to win only one match.
