Krafton disqualifies four teams from BGIS 2024 for cheating

Following a thorough investigation, Four teams have been disqualified from BGIS 2024 for breaking rules of competition.

In a move to safeguard the integrity of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024, Krafton India has disqualified four teams for violating tournament rules. Check out the names of teams and more information below:

  • Five Filter Esports
  • INSTINCT OUTLIERS
  • Megastars Gaming
  • TENSE ESPORTS

Why Were They Disqualified?

Following a thorough investigation, these teams were found to be using unauthorized software modifications and collaborating with players using cheats. These actions undermine the fair competition and sportsmanship that BGIS strives for.

The disqualified teams are officially barred from further participation in BGIS 2024. All their results throughout the tournament will be nullified.

Krafton India is committed to a fair and competitive environment. To ensure this, the points earned by the banned teams will be equally distributed among the remaining teams within their respective groups. This ensures all teams have a fair shot at moving forward.
