Krafton India Esports kicks off the Registrations of highly anticipated BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SERIES (BGIS) 2025. The Registrations are now open for everyone. This is best chance for players to make their mark in the BGMI Esports scene and potentially claim a share of the massive INR 2 Crore prize pool. BGIS 2025 Format Explained
Registrations are now live for players across the India. Players need to complete their registrations till 19th January 2025. Check out the full format below:
IN-GAME QUALIFIERS – All registered teams have to play in-game qualifiers of realme BGIS 2025 in order to qualify for the next round. Teams registering for BGIS 2025 have to play 15 classic matches on Erangel or Miramar or Sanhok with their registered squad members from 25 Jan to 2 Feb 2025. The top 10 of 15 matches will be evaluated and shortlisted on the basis of position standings and finishes. There will be 1016 teams will be shortlisted for the realme BGIS 2025 qualifiers after the In-Game Qualifiers.

ROUND 1 – 1016 squads that qualify during the In-game Qualifiers along with Bottom 8 teams from realme BGIS Grind Group D will be battling each other in Round 1 over the course of 7 days. From this round, 448 Teams i.e., Top – 7 from each group will qualify to Round 2. Additionally, 48 Teams i.e., Top 48 teams based on the overall standings from the remaining teams to Round 2.
ROUND 2 – 496 Teams qualified from the realme BGIS Round 1 along with 16 teams from the realme BGIS GRIND i.e., Bottom 8 teams from Group C & Top 8 teams from Group D will be battling each other in Round 2 over the course of 4 days. From this round, 224 Teams i.e., Top – 7 teams from each group will qualify to Round 3. Additionally, 16 Teams i.e., Top 16 teams based on the overall standings from the remaining teams to Round 3.
ROUND 3 – 240 Teams qualified from the realme BGIS Round 2 along with 16 teams from the realme BGIS GRIND i.e., Bottom 8 teams from Group B & Top 8 teams from Group C will be battling each other in Round 3 over the course of 4 days. From this round, 96 Teams i.e., Top – 6 teams from each group will qualify to Round 4. Additionally, 16 Teams i.e., Top 16 teams based on the overall standings from the remaining teams to Round 4.
ROUND 4 – 112 Teams qualified from the realme BGIS Round 3 along with 16 teams from the realme BGIS GRIND i.e., Bottom 8 teams from Group A & Top 8 teams from Group B will be battling each other in Round 4 over the course of 4 days. From this round, 56 Teams i.e., Top – 7 teams from each group will qualify to Quarter Finals. Additionally, 16 Teams i.e., Top 16 teams based on the overall standings from the remaining teams to Wildcard.
QUARTER FINALS – 56 Teams qualified from the realme BGIS Round 4 along with 8 teams from the realme BGIS GRIND Group A will be battling each other in Quarter Finals over the course of 4 days. From this round, Top 16 teams will qualify to Semi Finals Week 1. Additionally, 48 remaining teams move to Wildcard.
WILD CARD STAGE – 48 Teams qualified from the realme BGIS Quarter Finals along with 16 teams from the realme BGIS Round 4 will be battling each other in Wildcard over the course of 4 days. From this round, Top – 16 teams will qualify to BGIS 2025 Semi Finals Week 1.
SEMI FINALS WEEK 1 – 32 Teams i.e., 16 Teams from Quarter Finals & 16 Teams from Wildcard will be battling each other in Semi Finals Week 1 over the course of 4 days. From this round, Top – 8 teams will qualify to Grand Finals and remaining 24 Teams will move to BGIS 2025 Semi Finals Week 2.
SEMI FINALS WEEK 2 – 24 Teams from Semi Finals Week 1 will be battling each other in Semi Finals Week 2 over the course of 4 days. From this round, Top – 8 teams will qualify to BGIS 2025 Grand Finals.
BGIS 2025 GRAND FINALS – Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2025 Grand Finals will take place from 18-20 April 2025. It will be an offline (LAN) event at Kolkata, West Bengal. Top 8 Teams from Semi Finals Week 1 + Top 8 Teams from Semi Finals Week 2 will participate in the BGIS 2025 Grand Finals.
