BGMI Esports Roadmap 2022 Revealed: After lots of talks and expectations, Krafton has finally announced the esports roadmap of India for this year. The whole gaming community was eagerly waiting for this clarification. Finally, it is now the reality. So, there will be four major tournaments with a total prize pool of 6 crores. The start of the season kickoff later this month. So, let’s know more about the Battlegrounds Mobile India Esports Roadmap 2022 in detail.

BGMI Esports Roadmap 2022 & All Major Tournaments:

Krafton has introduced an initial picture of the roadmap. According to Krafton, these esports competitions will be providing the highest prize pool for a specific esports event. As we mentioned earlier, there will be four major tournaments. They are Battlegrounds Mobile Open Challenge (BMOC), Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series (BMPS) season one, Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BMIS), BMPS season two. The total prize money for these tournaments is 6 crores.

Both seasons of the Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series will have prize money of Rs. 2 crores each (around $266,000). As we mentioned earlier that this figure represents the highest prize pool for a single esports event in India. Registrations for the Battlegrounds Mobile Open Challenge will kick off later this month itself. This will be followed by the qualifiers at the end of the month of March.

However, Krafton did not give any clarification on the international competitions. However, they have hinted that there will be similar patterns to PMGC 2021 Finals. Minu Lee, the head of BGMI told that Krafton will remain committed to the development of the esports ecosystem in India and In 2022, Krafton would continue to provide a platform to players across the spectrum, be it pro-level or simply gaming enthusiasts via a range of tournaments and thoughtfully curated experiences.
