His international career hasn’t taken off and T20 leagues have been his saviour. Ben Cutting’s International Debut: Cutting made his debut against Sri Lanka in 2013 at Adelaide. He had figures of 1/42 in 10 overs. This looks impressive but in a match where Sri Lanka were chasing just 171, they weren’t of much use.
Ben Cutting’s ODI Record: Despite being on the periphery of the Australian team for a long time, Cutting managed to play just four ODIs. With so much competition in the Australian pace bowling department, he couldn’t establish himself in the team.
Ben Cutting’s T20 Record: Cutting merely played seven T20I matches and his numbers from them are quite poor. It is odd that a player who otherwise does well in T20 leagues didn’t do better at the international level.
Ben Cutting’s IPL Record: 10 wickets in 21 matches is a very ordinary record and shows why the 34-year old has played so little in IPL. Indian pitches don’t have much help for bowlers and Cutting doesn’t have the extra pace that is needed to succeed on these wickets.
