BCCI ICC Revenue – BCCI Media Rights: According to a report in Fox Sports, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is apparently lobbying for a bigger piece of the ICC’s revenue distribution mechanism. Thanks to the Indian Premier League (IPL), which generates more than 50% of the BCCI’s annual revenue, BCCI is today by a fair margin the wealthiest cricket organisation in the world.
The BCCI has received $36.3 million (approximately) from the ICC during the current cycle from 2015 to 2023 as part of its revenue-sharing scheme for eight years, which accounts for over 22% of the entire distribution of the money globally.
In the previous agreement, Cricket Australia, ECB, and the majority of the other full member countries totally collected about $170 million.

New Terms for BCCI ICC Revenue
According to The Australian, BCCI is now aiming for a 37 percent rise in revenue share compared to the previous cycle, which will equal $1.3 billion in the following cycle.
A record-breaking media rights agreement was negotiated by the BCCI for the Indian Premier League, garnering a staggering 48,390 crore ($6.20 billion) over a five-year term, almost three times the previous agreement. This is massive considering the BCCI Domestic Rights for Indian Cricket Team will be up for bidding soon
IPL: Hottest Sporting Property
Along with the English Premier League (EPL), National Football League (NFL), and National Basketball Association (NBA), the Indian Premier League is currently one of the top five sporting league in the world.
The Indian Premier League holds a commanding second-place in terms of value per game, exactly behind the NFL.
Every game in the National Football League is valued at $17 million, compared to $14.61 million for the Indian Premier League.
