Harry Kane or Dusan Vlahovic? Di Marzio talks about who might join Bayern Munich

Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio says Harry Kane might not force Tottenham Hotspur to let him go. If not, Bayern Munich could divert their attention to Dusan Vlahovic.

Bayern Munich Transfer: Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane has been linked with a move away from the club. The club chairman Daniel Levy is reluctant to let go of their ace player. However, Kane’s future at the club looks bleak. Hence, he wants a move to Bayern Munich who will not spend over £80 million. Spurs are unwilling to agree on any amount less than £100 million. Bayern don’t spend unnecessarily, so they could focus their full attention on Dusan Vlahovic. Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio shines a light on the matter.

Harry Kane wanted to leave Spurs 2 years ago, but Spurs did not let him go. Manchester City offered a whopping £127 million for Kane. However, unwilling to let Kane go, they refused. History could repeat itself, but Kane is more determined to leave this time around. Both Manchester United and Bayern Munich showed interest in him. However, even though Kane wanted to stay in England, chances were always very little to nil that Spurs would sell him to their domestic league competitor.

Man United backed away anyway after knowing Spurs would ask for at least £100 million. Bayern could still be trying, but they will not spend that much either. Talking to Wettfreunde, transfer expert Di Marzio said, “The history of Bayern Munich is not to pay more than 80 million euros for a striker. They got out of the situation with Victor Osimhen and unless Tottenham want to include some players in a swap deal it’s hard to imagine the deal would go through.”

He added, “If Daniel Levy wants more for Harry Kane, it will be very difficult for him to go to Bayern Munich. Kane gave his whole life for Tottenham and with his history at Tottenham I think they will let him go if that’s what he really wants. But of course, it depends on Harry Kane really wanting to push the club forward. I don’t think he wants to force the move because he has too much respect for the club. Other players would probably do it, but he’s not that kind of person.”

Bayern know that the chances to acquire Kane are slim to nothing. Hence, if Kane’s transfer doesn’t come through, they are prepared to approach the second man on their priority list, Dusan Vlahovic. Additionally, Juventus could be more willing to sell than Spurs. Regarding the transfer possibilities, Di Marzio said, “Getting a contract with Vlahovic is not easy, but it is not certain that he will play for Juventus next season because Bayern Munich will try to get him if they don’t get Harry Kane.”

He added, “It’s an open game for Vlahovic and he’s not an out-of-market player. But Juventus are also waiting because if he leaves they will try to target Romelu Lukaku. Inter will definitely make another offer in the next few days and Lukaku is very likely to return to Inter, but if not, of course he can go to Juventus if they sell Vlahovic.” Chelsea rejected Inter’s first bid, so their next bid will have to be more convincing. If not, chips might fall in the right places for Vlahovic to join Bayern.
