BAR vs KAR Live: After Mumbai, Karnataka eyes Baroda as they eye – Follow Live Updates

Karanataka secured a fantastic win over defending champions Mumbai on Saturday and will also be eying to reduce the deficit with table topper Tamil Nadu. Manish Pandey led side is coming after registering seven wickets win over Mumbai and will be high on confidence. They chased down the target of 209 runs within 46 overs of their chase as R Samarth scored a superb, unbeaten 96 while Praveen Dubey starred with the ball returning with 4 for 29. Karun Nair also returned after scoring 39 individual runs.

On the other hand, after facing back-to-back defeats, Baroda tasted its first success in the ongoing edition with 5 wickets win over Puducherry on Saturday and claimed 4 points. The likes of L Meriwala & Dhruv Patel – who picked three wickets each as they bowled out Puducherry at 86 – will have to repeat something similar against Karnataka too.

Karnataka seems to have an upper hand over Baroda especially with the in-form players in R Samarth, skipper Manish Pandey, J Suchith. For Baroda, batting still seems to be a big worry as they lost 5 wickets while chasing a low total of 86 against Puducherry.
