Rajarshi Gupta

Rajarshi Gupta is a cricket writer with nearly 2 decades of experience. As a kid, he wanted to be a cricketer but realized (pretty quickly) that writing on the game was easier than playing it. Loyally devoted to Sachin Tendulkar, it's difficult to convince Rajarshi there will ever be a better batter than the Master Blaster. Rajarshi has covered cricket across different venues but the highlight obviously remains India's 2011 World Cup triumph in Mumbai. Having worked at ESPN Star Sports, Cricbuzz, NDVT & India Today, Rajarshi currently works with InsideSport where he encourages (there's little choice) his colleagues to walk down memory to the era of Tendulkar and draw comparisons with the contemporary greats of the game.
