Adil Husain's journey with InsideSport started in 2023, however, his love for cricket goes a long way back. His journalism career is still a young one, and is into its fourth season, all dedicated to sports writing. Before Adil realised that he has a penchant for cricket writing, he himself played the game and did pretty well in school and college. His passion for the sport combined with his short competitive career was enough to help Adil understand that he has a notable future ahead of him in cricket writing. With InsideSports, he takes on the challenge of working on live blogs, writing interesting match reports, and coming up with unique story angles to drive the audience to the website. His favourite Indian cricketers are Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni. Amongst the overseas players, he loves Australian pacer Brett Lee. Adil's interest lies in following all the ICC events, keeping himself abreast of all the cricket updates, and following the Indian Premier League with due diligence. Since his childhood, Adil has been an avid supporter of the Indian Cricket Team. Apart from cricket, he has an interest in Kabaddi and follows the Pro Kabaddi League. In his free time, he likes cooking, biking, and spending time with his family and friends.
