Novak Djokovic vs Grigor Dimitrov

Novak Djokovic hopes he gets back to his bets fitness-wise as he takes on Grigor Dimitrov for a spot in the fourth round. Djokovic struggled with his hamstring issue during his second round contest against Enzo Couacaud, which he won in four sets. The Serbian wants to stay fit until the end of next week as he is gunning for his 10th Australian Open title.

Grigor Dimitrov meanwhile is yet to drop a set in the tournament. The experienced Bulgarian dropped just five games in his second round against Laslo Djere. In the opening round, he defeated Aslan Karatsev 7-6, 7-5, 6-2. He is aiming for another good show against Djokovic.

Andy Murray vs Roberto Bautista Agut

Andy Murray has played two energy sapping marathon five-setters in his first two rounds at the moment. The former World No.1 looks like a man on a mission as his never-say-die attitude helped him emerge victorious from difficult situations. He will yet again have to show the same same fighting spirit against Roberto Bautista Agut in the third round.

Agut is the 24th seed in the tournament. He clinched a straight set win against Joao Sousa in the opening round of the tournament. In the second round, he won a five-setter against Brandon Holt after losing the first two sets. The contest against Murray and Agut is also likely to go into another five-setter.

Belinda Bencic vs Camila Giorgi

Belinda Bencic is aiming her career’s second fourth round appearance in the Australian Open. The 12th seed has so far had a dominant run in the tournment. She is yet to drop a set as she defeated unseeded Viktoriya Tomova and Claire Liu in straight sets in the first two rounds. The Swiss faces Camila Giorgi in the third round.

Giorgi too has shown terrific form in the Grand Slam event. She dropped just a single game in the first round contest against Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova. The Italian then sailed past unseeded Anna Schmeidlova in the second round 6-4, 6-3. She is looking to enter the fourth round at the Australian Open for the first time in her career.

Carolina Garcia vs Laura Siegemund

Carolina Garcia is one of the favourites for the title and she has done well so far in the tournament. The fourth seed began her campaign with a dominating 6-3, 6-0 win against Katherine Sebov. In the second round, Leylah Fernandez pushed her to the tie-break in the first game, but Garcia managed to clinch the game in straight sets as well. She will next face Laura Siegemund in the third round.

34-year old Siegemund made it to the third round at the Australian Open for the first time since 2016. The German won both her matches this year in the Australian Open in three sets. She will face a big challenge against the in-form Garcia in the upcoming contest.
