After the Test series, Australia and India will play three one-day internationals. The three-match ODI series is crucial because Australia will learn the lineups for the ODI World Cup later this year thanks to it.
Cummins, though, is not currently in the mindest to return to India. Instead, in the remaining games, Steve Smith will serve as the captain.
