During the first ball of the over, Mitchell Marsh hit the ball in the air and it was heading over long-off. While the ball seemed to be sailing over the boundary line, Stokes managed to get a hand to it and thus, flipped it back inside. Due to which, he saved four runs. His inhuman efforts instantly went viral.

The video of his fielding effort was shared by several Twitter handles. Fans on social media were not only stunned, but also applauded Stokes for his miraculous save. Thus, the 31-year-old once again proved why he is one of the most committed all-rounders of the era. Besides, it wouldn’t be an overstatement to say that he has been one of the best fielders in the recent past.

However, Stokes had a rather forgettable day with the bat as he was only able to score seven runs from 11 balls. Nevertheless, he had a good outing with the ball as he only gave 10 runs in his two overs.

In the process, he also picked up the wicket of Mitchell Marsh. As a matter of fact, England went on to win the second T20I by eight runs and thus, sealed the series as well.

It was a clinical performance from the visitors to say the least. After being asked to bat first, the Jos Buttler-led side scored 178-7 in their stipulated 20 overs. Dawid Malan was simply sensational as he scored a brilliant 82 from just 49 balls.

This enabled him to win the player of the match award as well. As for their bowling, Sam Curran was superb as he managed to pick up three wickets.
