After being put into the bat, West Indies had a shaky start as they were reduced to 35/3 in the fourth over. However, handy cameos from Evin Lewis (29 off 26), Shimron Hetmyer (27 off 28) and skipper Kieron Pollard (44 off 31) has helped them post a competitive total of 157/7. Josh Hazlewood was the pick of the bowler for the Aussies as he returned with an impressive figure of 4-39 in his quota of four overs.

Coming to chase, Australia faced an early blow when Akeal Hosein removed skipper Aaron Finch cheaply in the third over. However, David Warner and Mitch Marsh then accounted for a 100 runs partnership and the chase became a cakewalk for the Aussies side.
David Warner returned unbeaten on 89 off 56 deliveries while Mitch Marsh scored 53 off 52 deliveries before being dismissed by Chris Gayle.
