This year, the tournament will be held at the Pala Alpitour in Turin, Italy for the second year in a row. Turin will play host to the event till 2025. The event this year is scheduled to be held from 13th November to 20th November 2022.

Rafael Nadal

- Apart from these two Grand Slam events, he also won the Melbourne Summer Set at the start of the year and the Mexican Open title. H is now aiming to finish the year on a high. He enters the tournament after suffering a first round defeat at the Paris Masters 2022.
Stefanos Tsitsipas
- Stefanos Tistsipas will be the second seeded player in the tournament. He won two titles this year that includes the Monte Carlos Masters and Mallorca Open final.
- He finished as runner-up at Italian Open, Cincinnati Masters, Astana Open, ATP Rotterdam and Stockholm Open this year.
Casper Ruud
- Casper Ruud became the World No.4 this year after a terrific 2022. He finished as runner-up for the first time in French Open and the US Open.
- After the US Open runner-up finish, he in fact reached the World No.3 rankings in the tournament. He won three titles this year at the Swiss Open, Geneva Open and the Argentina Open.
Daniil Medvedev
- Daniil Medvedev who enjoyed a brief stint as the World No.1 this year is currently the World No.5 and is the fourth seed in the tournament.
- The 2021 US Open winner didn’t enjoy a great season as apart from the Australian Open final, he failed to even reach the semifinals in any other Grand Slam events.
- He won the title at the Vienna Open and Citi Open this year, while apart from rthe Australian Open, he also finished as runner-up at Halle Open and Libema Open.
Felix Auger Aliassime
- Felix Auger Aliassime is enjoying a terrific last few months as he won three back-to-back titles in the last month s at Firenze Open, European Open and Swiss Indoors.
- He is entering the tournament after a semifinal finish at the Paris Masters and will be the fifth seed.
Andrey Rublev
- Andrey Rublev is the sixth seed in the tournament and he enjoyed a good 2022 season. While he managed to reach the quarterfinal at French Open and US Open this year, he won four ATP titles.
- He clinched the titles at Dubai Tennis Championship, Gijon Open, Serbia Open and Open 13.
Novak Djokovic
- Six-time ATP Finals champion Novak Djokovic was already assured of a place having won Wimbledon in July and clinched a place in the world’s top 20, a sub-rule of the competition.
- However as it turned out, though, Djokovic is in the top eight so would have qualified anyway.
- Apart from the Wimbledon title, his recent form has been impressive as he won the Tel Aviv Open and the Astana Open title and enters the ATP Finals after finishing as the runner-up at the Paris Masters.
Taylor Fritz
- Taylor Fitz entered the ATP Finals after the withdrawal of Carlos Alcaraz, Fritz in the Worls No.9 and he won his maiden ATP Masters 1000 title this year by defeating Rafael Nadal in the Indian Wells Masters final.
- He also won two more titles at the Eastbourne International and the Japan Open.
Meanwhile in the doubles, In doubles, Wesley Koolhof/Neal Skupski, Rajeev Ram/Joe Salisbury, Marcelo Arevalo/Jean-Julien Roger, Nikola Mektic/Mate Pavic, Nick Kyrgios/Thanasi Kokkinakis and Lloyd Glasspool/Harri Heliovaara have punched their tickets to Turin so far.
The Format
The tournament has two groups of four players/ teams each and uses a round-robin format. The top two from each group advance to the knockout semi-finals, with the semi-final winners clashing for the title.

ATP Finals Prize Money and Ranking Points
An undefeated champion at the ATP Finals, held at the Pala Alpitour in Turin, will earn 1,500 ATP Rankings points. The champion will also earn $4,740,300. This is the highest-ever prize money for the winner in any tournament in the history of Tennis.
