Novak Djokovic will achieve a four-year low as he will drop out of the Top 5 in the ATP Rankings set to be released on Monday. The 35-year-old defeated Nick Kyrgios in the Wimbledon final on Sunday but that result will have no bearing on the rankings.
Djokovic already relinquished his world No 1 ranking to Daniil Medvedev after his French Open loss and dropped down to No.3. He will drop from No 3 to No 7 in the world on Monday as a result of the ATP removing ranking points from the tournament.

As a result of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Wimbledon announced a ban on Russian and Belarusian players at the tournament. In a highly controversial move, the ATP hit back by cancelling ranking points for the tournament. As a result of this, Djokovic is set to lose 2000 ranking points, a huge blow to the Serbian superstar.
Djokovic will not be among the world’s top six for the first time since August 2018, when the Serbian ace was ranked world No 10 after missing the second half of the 2017 season through injury. Djokovic had already lost 2000 points earlier this year when he was deported from Australia due to vaccination drama.
