Asian Games: India Table Tennis schedule, live streaming and other details

Team events in Table Tennis will begin on 22nd September, while individual events will get underway from 27th September at the Asian Games

Indian paddlers Sharath Kamal, Sathiyan Gnanasekaran and Manika Batra are leading India’s 10-member Table Tennis contingent in the Asian Games. After failing to win a medal in the tea team event, The Indian paddlers are eyeing glory on the individual events. Manika Batra is looking to enter quarterfinal in Women’s singles. Men’s Doubles pair Sathiyan and Sharath Kamal and Manav Thakkar and Manush Shah are also in contention for last-eight spot.

The 10-member India squad comprises five paddlers each in Men and Women’s categories. Apart from Sharath Kamal and Sathiyan, the Men’s squad also has Harmeet Desai, Manav Takar and Manush Shah. Manika Batra leads the Women’s team that also has Sreeja Akula, Sutirtha Mukherjee, Ayhika Mukherjee, Divya Chitale.

Individual events 

Following the team event, players will then focus on individual glory. Indians will be in action in Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles at the Asian Games

Sharath Kamal and Sathiyan will partner in the Men’s Doubles. While Manav Thakkar and Manush Shah will be the other pair. In the Women’s Doubles Manika Batra will not be seen in action. Instead the two Women’s pairs will be Suthirtha Mukherjee & Ayikha Mukherjee and Sreeja Akula and Diya Chitale.

Manika Batra and G Sathiyan will partner in the Mixed Doubles. The other Indian duo will be Sreeja Akula and Harmeet Desai.
